The Local Church—also referred to in AfAN governance as the Local Assembly—is the community of believers that gathers regularly to worship God, make disciples, proclaim the Gospel, care for people and serve its community.
Together they form the frontline expression of Assembly for All Nations in a community.
A Local Church may use a local constitution for its administration and ministry, provided it remains compatible with AfAN's Constitution and receives the approval required by the national church.
The Local Church Missions Director serves as a member of the Local Church Board of Administration. The role keeps evangelism, missions, church planting, missionary mobilisation and mission reporting represented in the congregation's leadership and planning.
