Local Churches

The frontline expression of AfAN: worshipping, discipling, evangelizing, serving communities and raising believers who live out the Gospel.

Frontline Ministry

The Local Church is where AfAN's mission becomes daily Christian life

The Local Church—also referred to in AfAN governance as the Local Assembly—is the community of believers that gathers regularly to worship God, make disciples, proclaim the Gospel, care for people and serve its community.

Who forms the Local Church?

  • Credentialed minister or ministers
  • Elders
  • Deacons
  • Registered members

Together they form the frontline expression of Assembly for All Nations in a community.

Local Governance

Connected and accountable

A Local Church may use a local constitution for its administration and ministry, provided it remains compatible with AfAN's Constitution and receives the approval required by the national church.
