Missions Sunday focuses the congregation on AfAN’s responsibility to take the Gospel across communities, cultures and national boundaries. It can be used to share mission reports, pray for workers and fields, mobilise giving, identify potential missionaries and encourage local churches to participate in church planting.
The supplied 2026 Global Annual Plan of Action does not assign one fixed calendar date to Missions Sunday. Local churches should therefore follow current AfAN Global and pastoral direction when placing it in their programme.
