Cluster

A practical network of nearby local churches working together for planning, church planting, reporting, pastoral support and shared mission.

Local Coordination

The Cluster is the closest coordinating structure to local churches

A Cluster brings a group of nearby local churches together within a District. It creates a practical level for pastoral coordination, operational planning, church planting, reporting and mutual support among congregations.

Cluster leadership

Cluster leadership is intentionally compact so it can remain close to local churches and respond to ministry realities on the ground.

  • Cluster Director
  • Deputy Cluster Director
  • Cluster Secretary
  • Cluster Treasurer
  • Cluster Missions Director

The wider Cluster Working Committee also includes local assembly pastors and relevant ministry leaders.

Position in the Structure

District → Cluster → Local Churches

The Cluster receives guidance from the District and helps local churches turn that guidance into practical plans, ministry activity, reporting and church growth.

Cluster Functions

Practical responsibilities closest to local congregations

Operational Planning

Ensure local churches prepare appropriate operational plans and budgets and work toward agreed ministry priorities.

Vision & Policy

Help local assemblies understand and implement the vision, mission and policies of Assembly for All Nations.

Church Planting

Drive and coordinate church planting and establishment programmes assigned within the District.

Pastoral Accountability

Support the orderly forwarding of ministerial recommendations and assist higher structures with delegated fact-finding when needed.

Reporting & Statistics

Ensure churches submit required membership, ministry, financial and statistical information for responsible planning and oversight.

Shared Support

Create fellowship and collaboration among pastors and congregations so nearby churches can learn, serve and grow together.

The Cluster's Goal

No local church should function in isolation

The Cluster helps congregations remain connected to the wider church. It gives local pastors a nearby leadership network for planning, missions, problem-solving, reporting, fellowship and accountability.
