What AfAN Promotes

Evangelization

AfAN promotes the proclamation of the Gospel so that people everywhere can hear, understand and respond to Jesus Christ.

AfAN Ministry Priority

Evangelization

Evangelization is the intentional proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people who need to hear the message of salvation. AfAN sees evangelization not as the work of a few specialists, but as a responsibility shared by the whole Church.

Why this matters

AfAN exists to help fulfil the Great Commission by reaching people across communities, cultures and nations. Evangelization therefore includes personal witness, public preaching, community outreach, missions, digital ministry and church planting. The goal is not merely to gather crowds, but to help people encounter Christ and begin a life of discipleship.

Our Commitments

How AfAN approaches evangelization

  • Proclaim Jesus Christ clearly, faithfully and compassionately.
  • Equip every believer to share the Gospel in daily life.
  • Support local, national and cross-cultural missions.
  • Plant and strengthen churches that can reach their own communities.
  • Use media, technology and appropriate communication methods to extend Gospel access.
  • Connect evangelism with discipleship so new believers are taught, nurtured and incorporated into Christian fellowship.
In Practice

How this is expressed

Personal Witness

Members are encouraged to share Christ through relationships, testimony, service and everyday conversations.

Community Outreach

Local assemblies can organize evangelistic services, home visits, open-air outreach, compassion initiatives and community-based ministry.

Missions & Church Planting

AfAN mobilizes workers to enter new communities, develop disciples and establish multiplying local assemblies.

For Members & Local Churches

Putting evangelization into action

Every AfAN believer can participate by praying for the lost, living as a credible Christian witness, learning to explain the Gospel, inviting others into Christian community, supporting missions and being willing to go where God opens a door.
